The TenPoint XR-410 is the last of Tenpoint’s 2020 line up crossbows for us to review. This reverse-draw crossbow has incredible specs and technology at a reasonable price. I’ve had a couple of weeks time with the crossbow to properly test it out.

TenPoint XR-410 Crossbow Specs

Size and Weight
The Tenpoint XR-410 measures a full length of 29.5 inches and a narrow design. Its uncocked width(axle-to-axle) is 12-inches and just 6.5 inches once cocked. These dimensions are ideal for using this compact crossbow in ground blinds and tree stands. The crossbow weighs 7.4 pounds without accessories.
Construction and Design
Tenpoint built the XR-410 with a 20-inch TAC-LITE fluted aluminum flight rail. Additionally, the riser and limb pockets are made from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy.
The Tenpoint XR-410 uses slingshot technology and a vector 4 quad cable system that drastically increases down-range accuracy. Its center-balanced design helps to hold the crossbow steady during aiming and shooting.
The crossbow’s reverse draw design creates an elongated power stroke of 17 inches that generates more speed with less draw weight. Additionally, the elongated power stroke also increases the distance the arrow nock is engaged with the string.
Durability
Tenpoint’s XR-410 CNC machined cams, riser, and limb pockets are extremely durable. According to TenPoint, you can make thousands of shots before repairs are needed. We did not encounter any durability issues.
Update: After using the crossbow for a couple of weeks now, shooting over 200 shots we still encountered no durability issues whatsoever. This TenPoint crossbow is built to last!
RangeMaster Pro Scope
The Tenpoint XR-410 comes with the high-end RangeMaster Scope. This scope has fully multi-coated 1.5 to 5x optics and an etched glass reticle. It boasts lighted aiming points. The yardages begin at 20 yards and each mark thereafter indicates 10 more yards. So, 20, 30, 40, and 50-yards, and a triangle for 60-yards.
T-5 Trigger
The TenPoint XR-410 is equipped with the auto-engaging T-5 trigger system from TenPoint that made its debut in 2019 and is still known for being one of the safest crossbow triggers on the market. The trigger has a string latch design which drastically reduces friction. The smooth 3.5 lbs trigger offers a consistent crisp break, offering more control, resulting in better arrow groupings.
The scope has a variable speed and arrow drop compensation setting, this feature ensures that the scope requires no adjustment for distance. It has a non-illuminated black dot or one or two rheostat controlled illuminated colored dots(red or green).
AcuDraw Pro
The Tenpoint XR-410 is built with the AcuDraw Pro rope cocking device, this device ensures safe and silent cocking. The device is completely integrated into the stock of the R-410. It converts the crossbow’s pull weight into 8.5 pounds of force.
The cocking device is also very quiet, it features an internal brake system that silently tensions the crossbow and reduces the number of cranks to do so. Also, this cocking device stretches a crossbow 43% faster than other Acudraw cocking devices.
Integrated Sound Dampening System
TenPoint built XR-410 with an integrated sound-dampening system featuring micro-adjustable dampening rods with high impact rubber dampeners. This integrated sound dampening system dramatically reduces string noise and oscillation. Combined with the silent AcuDraw Pro cocking system makes the Tenpoint XR-410 a very efficient silent stealth-type crossbow.
Arrows and Quiver
The Pro Elite 400 20-inch carbon crossbow arrows that are included in the package are fletched slightly offset and is fitted with a 61-grain aluminum insert, 3.5-inch Bohning X Vanes, and TenPoint’s white Alpha-Nock and receiver for quick lighted nock installation.

The lightweight three-arrow instant detach quiver weighs 4.75 ounces. The quiver has a durable strong spine and a rubber loop, which allows you to hang the quiver while you are in a tree stand or ground blind.
Speed and Accuracy
Thanks to a 200 pound draw weight and a 17-inch power stroke the Tenpoint XR-410 sends bolts flying downrange with speeds up to 410 feet per second, delivering 143 ft. lbs. KE depending on which arrows you use.
The Tenpoint XR-410 is highly accurate beyond 50-yards, the crossbow’s reverse draw design allows you to aim a lot quicker and it gives you more balance during shooting enhancing your accuracy. The crossbow’s center-balanced design helps to hold the crossbow steady during aiming and shooting, this also increases downrange accuracy.
If you’re looking for a faster reverse draw crossbow from TenPoint, then I’d point you towards the Vapor RS470, which is TenPoint’s flagship model this year.
Assembly and Sighting-in
The Tenpoint XR-410 comes almost fully assembled. You’ll only have to install the scope, the foot stirrup block, and the quiver. Sighting in the scope was also easy and quick.

Our Rating of the TenPoint XR-410
Summary
The TenPoint XR-410 a value-priced, high-performance reverse-draw crossbow. Its reverse-draw design utilizes a full 17-inches power stroke to generate speeds up to 410 fps. The crossbow is ultra-compact, measuring only 6.5 inches wide once cocked. The XR-410 is also very well balanced and offers pin-point down-range accuracy. The AcuDraw Pro allows for easy, safe, and silent cocking.
All of these aspects make the XR-410 from TenPoint one of the most efficient hunting crossbows on the market. This is definitely the best price/quality ratio for a TenPoint crossbow I’ve seen so far.
