Here is our review of the popular Primos Double Bull SurroundView 360 ground blind, or as Primos likes to call it; “the ground blind with no blind spot.” This groundbreaking hub-style ground blind is very popular, so we had to put it to the test.

The Double Bull SurroundView 360 arrived well packaged and came with a carrying case, Bucks Forever Warranty, and an owner’s manual.

Dimensions and Weight

As anyone with hunting experience knows, bumping into the side of your blind can alert game and ruin a good opportunity. The Primos Double Bull Surroundview 360 has a spacious ground area of 60″ x 60″ with a center height of 70″, giving plenty of room for two bow or rifle hunters to move about freely. There is enough room to draw a bow without having to sit at the window.

The Double Bull SurroundView 360 is of course also suited for crossbow users, however simultaneous shooting side by side might be problematic(depending on the crossbow’s uncocked width).

The Primos Double Bull Surroundview 360 weighs a mere 23 pounds, which includes the carrying bag. Therefore it is ideal for long travel distances.

Visability and Conceilment

The Double Bull Surroundview 360 keeps you hidden from observant eyes and gives you a full 360° unobstructed view so you can overlook all directions through 1-way, see-through walls.

The blind comes with four of these see-through walls and one movable blackout wall that you can place on a wall of your choice. A full-forward, 180° shooting screen has Silent Slide window closures. Five shoot-through ports provide lap windows at your back.

The draw-open window takes some time to get used but it is a great system. The design allows you to open the fabric the entire length of two sides if needed, but you’ll want to keep it closed as much as you can to avoid being seen.

You can place the included, movable black-out wall on any wall you choose for added stealth. Also worth noting is that the quiet design for opening and closing the windows is fantastic along with the “Slit” for shooting.

SurroundView

The SurroundView technology is what makes this ground roller blind so special. On the sides of the fabric are thousands of extremely small holes that divide the fabric into points.

On the outside, the camo and natural light force the eyes of humans and animals to focus on the camo, making the holes “invisible”. On the inside, the black print and darkened interior allow your eyes to see through the holes for a clear view of the outside. See the photo below as an example.

How Does Primos's Surroundview Work

Truth Camo

Primos their excel TRUTH Camo contains a blend of shadows and patterns with a depth of field specifically designed for maximum camouflage in all ground level hunting conditions. This is one of the best camos currently available for a hunting blind.

Construction and Durability

The Double Bull Surroundview 360 keeps you hidden and out of the elements. The blind features a Power Hub Framework that is designed for sturdiness and quick and easy set-up. The fabric is thick and doesn’t tear easily. The roof of this blind is water-resistant. However, we recommend applying water repellent fluid to the roof.

Portability and Easy of Set up

Primos’s exclusive Power Hub Framework requires less force and aligns the rods perfectly for tighter fabric and easier set up than any other hub hunting blind. The blind is built for a fast, easy, and quiet setup. We did it in just seven seconds!

The carrying bag is fine but it is not a great carrying bag. It only has one strap and is very uncomfortable to carry on long distances. We think this blind should have a backpack strap which would make for a much comfortable carrying position.

Portability and Ease of Set up

In the Field

This is the best hub-style ground blind I have ever used. We hunted for hours from this blind during pouring rain and we and our gear were kept dry. Several times we had a deer within 20 yards of this blind and the animals completely ignored us. This is a great blind for hunting turkeys, deer, or other big game. The blind is also durable, so you can enjoy it for years to come.

Warranty

Warranty for Double Bull Blind

The Double Bull Surroundview 360 comes with Primos’ limited lifetime warranty that covers all defects in materials and/or workmanship for the life of the blind. If your blind breaks or doesn’t work properly, we’ll repair or replace it, it’s that simple. Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or prolonged exposure to the elements is not covered under this warranty. The warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

If it is proven to Primos that the product is defective, they will, at their discretion, decide to repair or replace the product. Any claims must be submitted to the customer service department. All returned products must be accompanied by proof of purchase to be considered for repair or replacement

Extra Accessories

Chair

The best swivel hunting Swivel Chama Pursuit Chair swivels 360 degrees, levels to any terrain with telescoping legs, and converts to a stool by removing the backrest. Its durable heavy-duty fabric provides hours of comfort and support. Weighing in at just 7.5 pounds, it’s lightweight and easy to bring along.

The Chama chair is rather expensive, so here is a good budget option. This Banded Swivel Blind Chair – Regular MAX5 is also a fine chair with a 360-degree swivel for a full range of motion. It has a metal frame with flared bottom for strength and stability. This chair weighs about 10 pounds.

Summary

With modern material and engineering Primos designed and build the most reliable, easy to assemble, and stealthy hunting blind that is currently on the market. The see-through capability is fantastic and it makes this blind the absolute best in concealment/visibility. It is the blind without a blind spot and a great addition to a hunter’s arsenal of quality hunting equipment. The only issue I have is the carrying bag that it comes with.

  1. My 360 blind was purchased in March. I opened it twice and closed it once and there is now a huge rip in the side. I’m very disappointed in this since it was an expensive blind. Is there anyway I can get refunded for this blind or get a new one.
